Lucian Blaga University of Sibiu, the PATLIB EUROPEAN CENTER of SIBIU and The Executive Unit for the financing of higher education, research, development and innovation (UEFISCDI) held on the 12th and 19’th of December 2013, WORKING GROUP Meetings with the themes: “Analysis of the Status-quo of IP Valorization in SEE and in the Global Context” and “National and Regional Adaptation of the platform: local valuation framework, as an activity within the framework of Transnational Project”.
Jožef Stefan Institute successfully presented the project to the Slovenian stakeholders. Workshop was organized within 6th International Technology Transfer Conference and Innovation Day 2013 in co organization with Slovenian Chamber of Commerce.
Belgrade Chamber of Commerce recognised the importance of this topic for the promotion of business environment and organised a presentation of EVLIA project on June 18th 2013. The objective of the meeting was to create a working group that would be involved in project activities. After the presentation, stakeholders - Intellectual Property Office, Economics Institute, Faculty of organisational sciences, Innovation Center of the Faculty of Technology and Metallurgy in Belgrade, and SIG (Serbian Inventive Group) - had the opportunity to present themselves.
Project partners are business intermediary organizations and academic and research institutes. This group is responsible for elaboration and implementation of the project. These kind of institutions are in charge to support SMEs in their contacts with the financial intermediary world and because of their competence and experience on different aspects related to the IP valuation, from risk analysis, to elaboration of indicators.
